Brenner Moor

The marshland Brenner Moor is the perfect place to leave everyday life behind. So breathe in deeply and listen to nothing but the grass rustling in the wind. Brenner Moor is the largest inland saltwater marshland in Schleswig-Holstein. In some places the salt content of the water is as high as that of the North Sea. For this reason you can find plants such as the sea arrow grass and the glasswort here that can otherwise only be found near the coast. Walking through the marshland, you can observe a variety of birds. Part of the trail leads you along an idyllic boardwalk.
