Stormarn's "lidos" have a good infrastructure, supervised sections and many fun activities. Our lake district is just a stone's throw away from Hamburg or Lübeck. So, go on - take a dip.
Costa Kiesa
Costa Kiesa is the beach at the Wilstedter Baggersee in the district of Tangstedt. The public swimming area is supervised by DLRG life guards (the German Life Guard Association) and is an excellent place for a family day-out. Here, just outside Hamburg’s city gates, you can spend a day on the beach restoring your energy. However, do not forget to bring along your own food and drink for the day.
