Ahrensburg castle
Ahrensburg castle with its four distinctive towers was built around 1585 in Renaissance style and today it is considered a unique testimony of Schleswig aristocratic culture showing stylish interiors with fantastic panelling, parquet floors, stuccoed ceilings, fine furnishings, paintings and Meissen porcelain. On slippers you glide through centuries of fine home decor. In addition to the general guided tours through the house, themed tours are also offered. With the audio guide you can explore the Museum at your own pace. And for those who would like to celebrate a special event in a particularly unique setting, the impressive vaulted cellars are available.
