Outdoor swimming in our lakes - Take a dip at Stormarn's lidos

Stormarn's "lidos" have a good infrastructure, supervised sections and many fun activities. Our lake district is just a stone's throw away from Hamburg or Lübeck. So, go on - take a dip.
Swimming at Lake Poggensee
Surrounded by beautiful trees, Lake Poggensee lies just outside Bad Oldesloe in peaceful surroundings. Its lido has a swimmer and non-swimmer area, a water slide and floating islands. The physically active can play soccer or Beach Volleyball. Refreshments are available at a small kiosk. Hire a Strandkorb, the traditional German canopied beach chair, or a sunbed. You can even have a BBQ using the public BBQs provided.
